Office hours vs gate hours at Public Storage

Gate hours are when tenants can drive in and reach their unit.
Office hours are when staff are on site to help with rentals and questions. Public Storage sets these separately.
Online rental and payments are available at any hour, which is one reason a location can appear as open 24 hours on Google.

Getting in after the office closes

You enter with your own access code. Public Storage's access code help page says the code is in the app or can be sent by texting OPEN to 28342, and asks tenants not to let other cars follow them through the gate. For problems outside office hours, its customer service guide points tenants to the local office during business hours. If your code stops working, see gate code not working.

If you need to get in at night

Look for a facility with confirmed 24/7 gate access near you. Use Near me, or browse cities. Every listing shows the gate status we found on the facility's own website.
