About us
A directory of self storage you can actually get into at any hour.
24 Hour Storage Units lists 1,425 self storage facilities in 30 states whose Google listing says "Open 24 hours" every day of the week.
Why this site exists
Searching for 24 hour storage is harder than it should be. Plenty of listings say "Open 24 hours" when only the online rental or the call center is open around the clock, and the gate closes at night. If you work nights, run a business out of a unit, or are moving at odd hours, that difference matters.
So we do not stop at the Google listing. We read each facility's own website for its real gate access hours. So far 162 facilities confirm 24/7 gate access, and 1,119 turned out to close the gate at night. Every listing says which group it is in, or that we have not confirmed it yet.
What we do not do
- We do not rent storage units and are not affiliated with any storage company listed.
- We do not take payment to rank a facility higher. Listings are free.
- We do not guess. If we could not confirm something, the page says so.
